bezeichnet in der Pädagogik die Auseinandersetzung eines Menschen mit sich uns seiner Umwelt mit dem Ziel kompetenten und verantwortlichen Handelns. (…) Ein umfassender Bildungsbegriff geht heute weit über Wissensvermittlung und traditionellen schulischen Unterricht hinaus, denn Bildung bedeutet die Entwicklung der gesamten Persönlichkeit, die Vorbereitung auf künftige Lebensabschnitte durch die Nutzung von Wissen und die Möglichkeit zum Weiterlernen sowie die aktive Teilhabe an der Gesellschaft. Bildung soll und muss auch dazu beitragen, soziale Unterschiede auszugleichen und die Zukunftschancen jener Menschen zu verbessern, deren Ausgangsbedingungen ungünstiger sind. (Stangl, 2019).

An event organised by Ecologie Engo Solutions in partnership with Univer, Ealing council and the Mayor of the City which saw over 320 volunteers plant a total of 10,000 trees at King George’s Field, Southall.
